By browsing our website, rest assured that we do not collect any personally-identifiable information about you. Website analytics are processed by Google analytics, like most websites, we track the number of visitors viewing our page but again there is never any personally identifiable data held. The information taken may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. None of the information stored in the Google analytics log files, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, is linked to personally identifiable information.
When emailing us
When sending an email to The Moorlander your IP address, email address and phone number (if provided) will be recorded to enable us to respond. We will use your IP address to determine whether email may be spam, this is to prevent our email inbox getting full of spam, this will also be the case when making a support ticket all software used to access support tickets or emails will be kept up-to-date and all emails and sensitive data will be encrypted and will only be accessed by people that need the information.
Right to complain
If you feel your data is breached in any way you have the right to complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) or to Eric Partridge, Managing Director of The Moorlander Limited, who is the appointed DPO (Data Protection Officer) for the company and will analyse data security on a regular basis.
