• The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has a long standing
reputation with its flower shows such as RHS Chelsea,
Hampton Court and Chatsworth

• Now the altogether different and more relaxing experience of the
Garden Flower Show comes back to Rosemoor in Devon

• Together with massive flower power and a brand new permanent
designer garden officially being opened

For three days, 16th – 18th August, RHS Garden Rosemoor in Torrington, Devon will host its Garden Flower Show, sponsored by Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management. This year the Rosemoor team have worked hard to bring you an even bigger and better show featuring incredible flower power, new content and a brand new permanent show garden.

Rosemoor’s Garden Flower Show is an altogether more relaxed experience. Unlike traditional Flower Shows such as Chelsea and Hampton Court the ‘show gardens’ are permanent features.

Also, instead of a large and cramped floral marquee, the nurseries taking part each have a mini show garden and a marquee and they are spread through the stunning 65 acres of gardens.

Key installations include giant floral designs created by top florist Jonathan Moseley among which the RHS letters together with two archways stretching across the beautiful Long Borders.

Jonathan will be also giving flower-arranging demonstrations on all three days. There is a brand new The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ Floral Display Trail created by local floristry clubs and linking five garden shelters – which is also theme for the summer holiday trail for families.

Rosemoor is also delighted that the brand new Cool Garden designed by RHS Chelsea gold medallist Jo Thompson will see its Official Opening at the show. The new garden with its flowing water features has been designed to help inspire gardeners dealing with heavy rainfall and flash floods caused by things like climate change.

Brand New for 2019
• Jonathan Moseley will have created some stunning floral installations
and will be on site all three days to talk to you about British flowers.

• A new Floral Display Trail theme. Some of North Devon’s finest
flower clubs have designed flower displays in five of the garden
shelters that all have a butterfly to tie in with The Very Hungry
Caterpillar.

• During the Garden Flower Show, RHS staff will be on hand to talk to
visitors about the design and planting of both the Cool Garden
and The Hot Garden.

• A new Community Village with a number of local charities,
businesses and other organisations including, Devon Air Ambulance,
North Devon Bee Keepers, Tarka Valley Railway, Torrington Rotary
and Children’s Hospice South West amongst others.

• Free park and ride shuttle from two locations in Great Torrington:
Torrington Rugby Club, EX38 7BT and South Street Car Park, EX38 8AE.

Rosemoor’s Garden Flower Show 2019 sure promises to be a grand day out for everyone and is included with normal garden admission, which is free for RHS members.

Non-members can either enjoy 10% discount by booking tickets online or can join the RHS either on entry or when its quieter as they exit from the show. For more information on events visit rhs.org.uk/rosemoor.
