The Chagford Film Festival had another successful week, starting with a champagne reception at the Globe Inn and a light show on the Market House in the town Square.
The town was buzzing with shops joining in by having film themed shop windows that you had to guess what the film was. Some people attending watched up to three films a day.
The final evening had to be rearranged because of a heavy downfall of rain; just on cue the heavens opened and events that were planned for the outside stage had to be held within the Globe, with a Elton John tribute act performing before the showing of the film ‘Rocketman’ based on Elton John’s life.
The Flaming Feathers burlesque dance troupe who were due the perform outside moved their dance act to the top bar of the Globe.
